A clear, easy-to-read PDF report on your roof, written for everyone, not just tradies.

Know exactly what's on your roof

Most people never see their own roof. An Edge Point roof report shows you. We inspect the whole roof and send you a professional PDF that sets out every problem we find, and everything that's in good condition.

Written for everyone, not just tradies. You don't need any roofing knowledge to understand an Edge Point report. Every issue is explained in plain, everyday English, with a clear photo beside it, so you know exactly what's wrong, why it matters and what to do next.

  • Easy to read: no jargon, just clear explanations
  • A photo of every issue, so you can see it for yourself
  • The good news too: what's sound and doesn't need touching
  • What to fix now, and what can wait
  • Useful when buying or selling a home, for insurance claims, or before winter

Roof report questions

My ceiling has a water stain. Where is the leak?

Often not directly above the stain. Water can run along sheets, battens or sarking before it drips. We inspect the roof itself to find the entry point, then fix that.

What's in a roof report?

A professional PDF covering the condition of your roof: every problem we find, with photos and notes, plus the parts that are in good shape. It's written in plain English, so you don't need any roofing knowledge to understand it. It's useful before buying or selling a home, for insurance, or simply to know where you stand.

How often should my roof be checked?

Once a year is a good habit, ideally before winter, so blocked gutters, cracked pointing or lifted sheets get fixed before the rain arrives.
